About Us
Rising above 7000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains lies the beautiful mountain resort community of Green Valley Lake. Surrounded by a National Forest, this town of about 300 is home to Green Valley Lake Church. The church was incorporated in 1980, serving the community of Green Valley Lake for the past 44 years, and is part of the Calvary Chapel Association (CCA) of churches.
Green Valley Lake Church exists to “proclaim the praises of Him who called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
As His church, we seek to fulfill our calling in this world: to preach the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to all, so that many will come to follow Him.
As Acts 2:42 says, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine
and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Steve and Charmaine were married in 1996 in beautiful Monterey, California. Charmaine has been a registered nurse also since 1996. Steve has owned a pizza shop as well as a window cleaning business. They met and got to know each other doing homeless ministry on the streets of Los Angeles. As a couple, they have done jail and prison ministry together for about 15 years, as well as leading multiple home fellowships. They both have a love for music and animals, and of course, Jesus.
